OUR MISSIONS
The missions of the National
Economic and Financial
Committee of Cameroon are
defined in Section III of
Regulation
No.03/2019/CEMAC/UMAC/CM
of December 12th, 2019. Its main
missions are as follows:
Coordinating the national
economic policy in line with the
Community monetary policy
Improving the efficiency of the national financial system
Drawing up and implementing the regulatory framework for reporting institutions
Promoting transparency within the national financial system
Promoting the economic and financial education of the public
Dual financial mediation among reporting institutions on the one hand and between reporting institutions and their customers on the other hand.
